Eeek! This is the baby rat caught in our humane trap last night. This is the SIXTH this week. They had made a nest in our storage shed with our outdoor UMBRELLA - tore it to shreds so badly that we had to throw it away. What a waste! So we set out this humane trap and when caught, Bob takes them out to the desert and lets them go. I just hope they don't find their way back over here!

Now that's a weird photo, hope you have caught the last one. Sounds like you have a lot of fun in store for you next week. Good for you. I will be driving to Tucson today, but only as far as the airport. Poor Gregg's been caught in horrid delays, and started travelling home from his Mom's at 3AM last evening which would be 12midnight our time. I was supposed to pick him up at noon today, but he won't be landing until 6:22PM, barring no further airline glitches! At least it's easier flying to California from here! Have lots of fun, and I hope your leg feels better. Get some new bright CROCS, they are so comfortable and inexpensive, and slip on mighty easy! How about a RED pair for you Judy! xoKATE
Airlines are almost impossible these days. I'd rather drive when possible. Hope Gregg got home okay. Yes, red shoes would match my hair!!! It's as hot inh Carmel as it is here. But nearer the ocean should be a little cooler. The wedding will be beautiful. My other niece is only 18. Take care and I'll talk to you when we return! With pics of the wedding.
Yuck! It's nice of you and Bob not to kill them though!
Hey Judy we made it home, and his plane was at the end 20 minutes early. When we passed thru the tunnel to Bisbee on the other side was the most amazing deluge of rain and monsoon! WOW gangbusters and just fabulous! That's why we love the desert!
Yeah, the rain in S. AZ. is weird! We've had a little bit of rain every day and last night when we were falling asleep the sky was rumbling over and over. If we had not had the humidifier on, we would not have been able to sleep! But we love the rain. Glad Gregg got home okay!!!
